Create Your Final Farewell.
All of us at Final Farewells take it as a privilege that you are willing to put your trust in us to hold on to your lasting message with the knowledge that we will keep it safe, confidential and when the time comes, we’ll uphold your specific wishes.
Our advice and guidance on things to Plan, Review and Think about.
Plan what you are going to say! Don’t take this opportunity lightly. Remember you know the people you are talking to and they know you! You want to convey the best you, so take some time to plan and rehearse.
When you have recorded your message be sure to watch it back (this may be awkward, we all hate the sound of our own voice!). Try to make sure that the image is how you/your loved ones would want it to be. Make sure you are also reviewing the sound; it is important you can hear what is being said as this is something that cannot be edited after.
When you are happy with what needs to be said and you’ve got a video you are happy with, now is time to think! When you upload you Final Farewell messageyou will be asked to tell us your specific wishes for each of your recordings. Your specific wishes need to state what you want us to do with your Final Farewell message when we are notified of your passing. You may want your message to be sent out as soon as we are notified of your passing, you may want the Final Farewell to be sent out for a specific date or alternatively on the anniversary of your passing. This part is for you to decide.
Also, at this point think about, and take time to consider the future that you will miss. You can at this point send the Final Farewell to somebody trusted and instruct us to pass on your specific wishes for a presently unknown future date i.e., your Final Farewell message could be sent out your husband or wife to be kept safe and unwatched until it is passed to your chosen beneficiary, for instance, to your child on their graduation or on their wedding day. These options of course will be personal to you, but please tell us what you want, and we’ll do our best to accommodate and maintain your specific wishes!
